Our project :
We noticed that there is a big problem in poor countries that is related to climate change. In fact, because theses countries do not have enough financial resources they can not easily have eco-friendly behaviours to reduce the climate change And the more we have climate change, the more these populations will become poor because the climate has an impact on many resources such as agriculture, water and so on. All of this will lead to less food, less water and also more poverty. So what can we do about it?
Based on what we read on the internet (the sources can be seen in our mindmeister), we found articles that talked about having discussions, tools, political, practical behaviours to help reducing the climate change in these countries. The government also need to have some policies or take actions to encourage or help its population in order to reduce it. Therefore, we decided to target this problem: how can the government encourage people to have eco-friendly behaviours?
We thought about the government rewarding people that take part to activities for climate. Such as, planting trees, cleaning streets, cleaning seas and so on. So we can have a web application where citizens can register to take part to activities and the more they do they will be rewarded by the government. This solution will help to encourage people to have ecological behaviours then reduce climate change and also help citizen financially by giving them these rewards
